Another departure: Crave Entertainment reportedly leaves ESA |
Ó
We've picked up word of yet another departure from the Entertainment Software Association. This time, it's Crave Entertainment who's in the spotlight. As of this writing, Crave Entertainment still appears in the members page of the ESA; however, sources close to the GamePolitics website have reported that the company is no longer connected to the ESA..
If you're wondering about Crave Entertainment's future offerings, however, don't fret. Word is that Crave will still be making an appearance at the E3, even if they haveleft the organization. Expect us to have more on this bit of news when further developments become available.

What exactly is the purpose of the ESA and why are so many people leaving the organization?
I have the same question. I wonder what this news is about anyway.
The Entertainment Software Association is a large corporation whose purpose is to help battle piracy and governmental control over video games and their contents. They also hold the E3 conferences. I assume that most entertainment groups such as Crave are leaving, I assume, because of the way the ESA "screwed up" E3. E3 sucks now and everybody knows it.
