Alone in the Dark officially announced for Wii

The latest installation to the Alone in the Dark series, previously announced only for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the PC, will also be released for the Wii (a shining example of how rumors get it right sometimes). Now you can be Alone in the Dark with your um... Nintendo.

The Wii version will make full use of the Wiimote and the nunchuck so it's not just a simple port. How this will affect the gameplay isn't clear yet exactly, except that you'll be able to directly use them to manipulate objects in real time (easier for reaction time).

Should we still wait and see if a DS and PSP version will follow? No news on a specific release date yet though.
