We just got to word that Activision and record label Interscope Records stroke a deal that will give video gamers the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Companion Pack. The said expansion is a compilation of the regular version of songs that can be found in the game's track list. It will cost US$ 13.98 and will be available on October 23. Aside from that, the CD also comes with a special code than can be used by Xbox 360 owners on Xbox Live Marketplace to get three additional Guitar Hero III songs.
There is no word, however, if gamers on PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii will receive a similar offer. Without any ado, here are the selected songs included in the Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock Companion Pack as well as the DLC for Xbox 360 users:
