Activision confirms Metallica in Guitar Hero III

Apparently, Harmonix's Rock Band (Xbox 360, PS3) isn't the only game that will be receiving even more heavy metal lovin'. Activision has just sent out word that Metallica is going to be part of Guitar Hero III's (PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, PS2)  growing song lineup.

What makes this news all the more enticing is that the band's master track is reported to be "One."  For the guys who haven't heard (or live under a rock), One is the very first song Metallica created a music video for, and is part of their "...And Justice for All" album from 1988, which hit number six on The Billboard 200 during its release.

That's all the details we've got for the moment, although we'll update in case more news gets released on more bands making it to GHIII.

On the website of Metallica there is written, that they will release "Enter Sandman" for this game. I've never read something about one...

Enter Sandman will be for Rock Band not Guitar Hero 3. if GH3 is featuring more metal than rock band then it gets my money seeing as i'm a big fan of pre black album metallica. Black album was good, but pales in comparison to Justice...

the black album wasnt bad but it is a freaking masterpiece when compared to st anger....i piss on that album it totally sucked. stupid lyrics, folgers can drums, no guitar solos and poor mastering. yet that album still sold.... im glad dave and jason left before the ship sank.
