Activision announces additional songs for GH3's main set list

Activision cranked the amps up to eleven today with the announcement of additional tracks for the main set list in Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, Wii). If you saw a track you wanted to play in our earlier post on the supposedly leaked GHIII songlist, then this should be a treat. Some of the songs included in that list have finally been confirmed.

The newly-confirmed songs include the Charlie Daniels Band tune Devil Went Down to Georgia and Stevie Ray Vaughan's Pride and Joy - a track which this blogger is particularly looking forward to. But enough chit-chat. The full list is below. Guitar Hero III is slated for an October 29 release.

I cannot wait for Devil Went Down to Georgia...and though i don't remember what it sounds like Cliffs of Dover blew my mind when I heard that long ago and far away.
