A Wii Gig on September 15th?

Ó

WiimotesNintendo Europe has just announced that they will be holding an event in London this coming September 15. However, just like in the event held in America, the details are fuzzy. And when people are kept in the dark, they go nuts.

Speculations have been flying around that announcement on the Wii's release date and price will take place in the said event. As all cliches go, Nintendo plays the coquette - confirming nothing and denying nothing. Maybe they're doing a divide and conquer thing? September 14 for the US, Europe on the 15th and either the 13th or 16th for Japan?

All we can do now is wait.

Your demographic would definately be a lot smaller than the potential in London or the UK. The UK has more sales of video games than the entire of Europe.

Plus to rub salt in the wounds further. We\'ve already had a playtest of the Wii in London.

I think this is the first that is open to the public though.
