A short Mega Man 9 gameplay video |
Ó
The video's very short, clocking in at 28 seconds, and it happens to have Japanese text over the video, but there's visible gameplay and music reminiscent of the 8-bit Mega Man games. We suppose Capcom and Inti Creates really decided to go and make a nostalgic game for people to enjoy, and we certainly like what we're seeing.
In any event, feel free to check out the video below. Japan's supposed to get this game in September, so we'll have to wait a while for news of a local WiiWare release when Capcom is good and ready.

Is that a NES port? Does anybody even try when making Wii games?
Simply awesome! That is going to be hella fun to play.
I look forward to seeing what else they added that's new.
loved mega man on ma brick sized gamboy, dis will b great haha
i agree with you... but it's gonna be weird, going from 8 bit megaman 6, to 16 bit MM7, 32bit MM8, not 8 bit again (hope they dont mess up the story, it has to connect to megaman x somehow)
I'm hoping since the whole point of this addition is to add storyline that it will contain more story then any original MegaMan has ever before.
They didn't really get into full blown storylines until MegaMan X.
I think you have to really like the game to enjoy this release. Myself, I play MegaMan II every now and then. Just can seem to get enough of it. This should be the same for me but for other reasons. If that makes sense...... was up WAY TOO LATE last night....
dissapoint
