A load of Dragon Quest Swords gameplay videos

Apparently, you don't get to play with just a sword. This latest batch of gameplay videos we've picked up for Square Enix's Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors will be demonstrating the title's controls. And as we mentioned earlier, the game's not just about swinging away with a sharpened chunk of cold steel. Also included in these videos is more footage of how to use your shield, which comes in handy for blocking the occasional arrow, spell bolt, or blob that's sent flying in your direction.

What looks even more fun and challenging is that players can also opt to deflect incoming projectiles with their sword, and send it flying back to their opponent in a Jedi/Sith fashion. Just keep in mind that these four videos - Foggy Forest, Knight Fighter, Arrow Blocking, and Rock Golem - are in Japanese. Enjoy the videos!
