Some would argue, but Ninty is pretty much leading all over the world. Germany, UK, you name it. Looks like we have Nintendo revolutions over at France, too - reports say that 700,000 Wii units have been sold in France alone.Just recently, Wii went past the 8 million mark. Considering that it's been selling strong since then, these numbers are still telling us that a really huge chunk of the consoles in existence went to our fellow French gamers' hands.
The source says that this is thanks to the Wii's appeal to people that never bought consoles before. Men and women of around 35-40 are said to be attracted to the simplicity of the machine. Sales are expected to boon come September when other Wii peripherals arrive.
