A full magazine's worth of some of the most bone-chilling screenshots of a zombie-infested Raccoon City heading right for your ocular receptors in this eye candy update of Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for the Nintendo Wii. We get you up close and personal with the living dead - close enough for them to give you a friendly love bite on the neck or two.
For those of us who've done more than our share of herb-mixing, storage box-pillaging and zombie-blasting, seeing Raccoon City again is...eerily nostalgic. Of course, we all know that the zombie-filled city itself was reduced to nothing but a crater after the events of Resident Evil 3, with the help of Umbrella Corporation nuking the entire city - but seeing it here, recreated in its dark, gloomy and deadly glory, it's enough to make one shiver in his boots.
Graphics are very smooth and detailed, with the textures noticeably convincing and realistic. There's credit to be given to Capcom on making sure the game looks as good as it does on the Wii - the environments are haunting, and the character models are definitely lifelike. Very nice muzzle flash in one of the screenshots, too.
With Resident Evil 5 still a long way off, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles is sure to get us our 'zombie-blasting' legs back - albeit in a different form of gunplay entirely. Updates as we get them, so enjoy the screenshots!

This looks like capcom is finaly doing the franchise right. So we have the masion, The police station, what game is image#9 from? I don't recognize that place.
i think its the place your at when your about to finish resident evil 3 im not sure though i havent played it in a long time either its that or the lab from RE2
I wish us gamers would boycott this title. Capcom's comments about us gamers not being able to handle a complex game like RE5 were insulting. We should be demanding an RE5/RE4 sequel first and foremost.
lol funny but i'm not sure if i should buy it, first after buying my wii i nearly crying after realizing the graphics are HORRIBLE this wii can t even be comparated to the other god like consoles, wii is nearly worth an xbox and the remote is just an excuse for crapy graphics, just wondering if the incomming games show better graphics.
