Star Wars Galaxies Third Anniversary

Later this month, all players of Star Wars: Galaxies will receive a Privateer Ship like the one above, which will whisk your character to the nearest shuttleport on any planet  (except Kashyyyk and Mustafar). This special gift is part of the current SWG Third Anniversary celebration this week. Sony Online Entertainment is planning a number of special events, including two 1-hour PvP Faction Events every day this week (between 6 and 8 PM, U.S. Eastern Time), a six-day long party with Max Rebo and his band at the Lucky Despot Cantina starting this Thursday, and dozens of rewards for three-year veterans, including additional storage slots in players' houses.

Players logging in during Anniversary Week - starting Monday, 26 June - will be eligible for a sweepstakes featuring very cool prizes. Every twenty-four hour period, one player will be selected at random to receive an nVidia GeForce 7900 GT 256 MB Video Card, 60 days of free online access, a Lightsabre collection, or a $50.00 e-coupon to Starwars.com.

The Boobs over at SOE have shot themselves SOE many times in the foot that they are walking on their kneecaps . The 3rd year of Star Wars Galaxies- muhaha - SWG went into a coma with the CU and was pronouced DOA with the NGE. Long live WoW which players were forced to play and Soon to realize that they , player customers have been upgraded and respected.
