Now, they say that the father's shirt in the trailer had the clue for a release date of June 15th. Nothing of the sort is confirmed, of course, but it sure is interesting to see the video in question once again. We've got it here for you, or at least the reverse version of it. It's one of the more effective game trailers we've seen yet as of late, and has already garnered more than 2.5 million hits on YouTube.

Said producer Malte Wagener of Deep Silver on the concept for the trailer, "We set out to create a rather unique trailer concept that would focus on delivering emotion and atmosphere while transporting the key elements and features of Dead Island. With the help of Axis and the great collaboration between our cinematic director, Anton Borkel and his team and Axis' own Stuart Aitken, we ended up creating something that was a breathtaking combination of pictures, story and music which formed an atmosphere of intensity that - for us - was beyond words." 

This definitely keeps us up in our toes, waiting with great anticipation for the release of Dead Island. It looks like we've got another blockbuster zombie title in our hands right here, thanks to Axis Animation and Deep Silver. Game's slated to come out for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. We'll be sure to keep you posted if we hear anymore from them.
