Battlefield: Bad Company 2 PC beta on January 2010? |

PC gamers have been waiting for word on the beta dates for Battlefield: Bad Company 2. So far, they've been told by Digital Illusions to wait for it to arrive in "early 2010". Understandable how that could be a tad too vague for some people's tastes. Not to worry, though. We're hearing the buzz that "early 2010" is actually January 28, 2010.
Now, don't take this all official for now. The information did not come from DICE itself, after all. Instead, it came from retailer GameStop. According to their website, if you reserve your copy of the game now, you will be getting access to the beta test on January 28.
So said the announcement:
"Reserve Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and receive access to the PC multiplayer beta. Beta begins January 28th, 2010 and ends February 25, 2010. Available for online customers only while supplies last. Not available for in-store or in-store pickup orders. Online customers: A beta activation code and download instructions will be emailed beginning January 26th, 2010."

Secondly, IW cannot bribe reviewer's unless Robert Bowling is a woman with little morals.
Thirdly, who said demo's don't cost money? Are you high? They cost money and they also need money to maintain the online playbility, also people are diverted to the beta as it needs "patching". Unless you wanted one whole mission of MW2 as a beta, it would've been quite useless. As MW2 contains like 5 missions. And MW2's strong point is Multiplayer. And if they did release a SP version of MW2 as beta, you would've still complained. Man i have to actually go throught this crappy commenting system to correct you.
Back on topic, BFBC2 is the most awesome game i have ever played on the PS3, its the realism which boggles my mind. In some games, bullets are close to the speed of light in BFBC2 it requires predicting of where the other person is going if you sniping. Awesome game.
