Ys I&II Chronicles trailer: so cool it hurts

I've always enjoyed the classic top-down action RPGs - Link to the Past, Alundra, Illusion of Gaia, the works. Dungeon crawling has never been as fun as the classic top-down perspective, methinks. So, if Nihon Falcom wants to make me a happy retro-gamer, they better announce a Western version for Ys I & II Chronicles quick.

Too bad that hasn't happened yet, and to make matters worse, they went on ahead and released this killer of a trailer for the remake. Bah. More cool stuff we can only stare and ogle at without knowing if we'll get to play it in English.

Yeah, you gotta love the retro-style music too:

Nihon Falcom's Ys I & II Chronicles for the PSP is scheduled to be released this July 16 in Japan.

Wow

Gotta love the retro game style, I think that one is a must have, I sincerely hope it gets translated. But I probably play it either way or at least I'll try
