The PSP has been facing a bit of a software drought lately, although SCEA is moving to remedy that with some new games. Publisher Xseed is apparently also doing what it can to entice gamers to stick with the Sony handheld.

As revealed by an Xseed employee on Facebook, the company will reportedly "give [gamers] a lot more reasons to own a PSP soon." The comment was made in response to a question regarding Xseed's recent release, Lunar: Silver Star Harmony.

While no specifics were mentioned, the "a lot more reasons" part seems to imply that they have more than one PSP project in the works.

RPGs? This is exactly what I need on my PSP! I want more of them, but I also want to be able to play them without having to pirate them or upgrade.

Sad to say it's a downfall brought on by Sony. Perhaps if there was a way to patch a UMD directly as it was being read to run on 5.0 M33.. Oh well, it isn't my problem.

unless you have psp-3000, you can use time machine to play. have 6.20 on NAND and 5.00m33 on stick

Hopefully more RPGs. Ones that will actually take me a long time to finish.

Never cared for lunar. But that was the case long before Xseed was attached.

Loved Bravestory.

I'd be very excited for more original properties from this team.

So their best reason for owning a PSP is a rehash of a rehash of a game that's 3 generations ago? Lunar is a GREAT game, but for those of us who have already played through it in previous incarnations, playing it yet again sounds a lot more like evidence that the PSP is completely and utterly dead.

# PLOT !!!! !!!!Guest 2010-04-14 19:19
They need to make a brand new rpg anthology that has new game play styles that will revolutionize the handheld rpg world, for example like the legend of dragoon game has a good plot and good game play! all that matters is PLOT and GAME PLAY (turn based rpgs are the best) and not graphics
