Xseeed and Falcom are getting pretty tight these days. The former has just announced that they'll be publishing a bunch of Falcom's PSP games in North America.

The deal signed between the two companies gives Xseed exclusive rights to publish PSP entries in Falcom's Ys and Legend of heroes franchises. So far, the following have been announced:

  • Ys SEVEN
  • Ys: The Oath in Felghana
  • Ys I & II Chronicles
  • The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky trilogy.

Expect to hear more about this at E3.

No we don't, the series was renumbered. With this we will have 3-6 along with the first one but we are still missing the second title, Dragon Slayer ~The Legend of Heroes 2~. We could hope for a Virtual Console release for that one as it was released on at least 6 Platforms. there is also the rest of the Dragon Slayer series that some what split up into several series back in the mid 90's some of which are being neglected in the US. Maybe we could see some of these too.

Shitty. The Legend of Heroes games are extremely bad in every way. Ys sucks too. Falcom is ass.

I'm glad that Ys is getting such attention from XSEED, and to be honest, I can't think of any better people to handle the translations aside from Atlus.

Thank god for that. The PSP is my portable RPG system, I mean the DS has Pokémon but these are all still probably great. Preorder ASAP!

I never got into Ys, but I'm all for more RPG's and more localized jap titles.

I'm not familiar with legend of heroes, I'll be hoping to be impressed.
