Actually, that's not an original one as it is the very plot of Konami's Pocket Racer. Set to be available this spring, Pocket Racer is a lot more fun than an ordinary racing game. Aside from the 16 colorful vehicles (or should we say souls?) to choose from, the player is made to race on unconventional tracks such as a messy bedroom, kitchen and conveyor belt in a factory.
To make it more fun and to prepare you to an ultimate duel with the Nemesis, power ups like nitro boost and homing missiles are available. Single and multiplayer modes are options, including time trial and soul races.

I've played this game. Your car gets around backwards all the time when the other cars hit you and shoot you. You spend a lot of time getting back on track. Very frustrating and definitely not worth $50 or whatever it costs.
ya # 6 is right, i played this game, you spend a bunch of time just trying to find out where to go. its pretty gay.

What a lame video. Four minutes of B.S. before we finally get to see the pathetic gameplay. I'm sticking with Need for Speed and Midnight Club.

It looks alright, I guess. I'm not thinking I'd get it. It has revealed to me something amazing though... If I shrink my car, it will become invincible. Excellent.
it really isnt much fun nor any good. i have played it as well. 90% of racing games on the psp are better than this game.

I worked on this when it was still a ps2 game. It was lame then, and it's lame now, and has an appallingly bad storyline tacked onto it. The best thing about it are the icons for "3,2,1 Go", which I did ;)
The Game is a load of crap... I wouldnt bother wasting your money on it.....
Iv tested this game and i must say i finished the first map and i got so bored, it just isnt fun for some reason. Maybe how the game is built. If it was more like Revolt on the pc now then it would have rocked. 4/10
Dont waste ur time or money with this game. I've played it, or tried to play it, and let me tell you, it sucks bad. U could be leading first place for 2 and a half laps and than bam a missle hits you, and its over, but the sad this is you can't restart the race. instead what happens is, you lose a "soul". and once u lose 3 souls, its basically, start the whole game all over again. The races are stupidly hard, the opponents always push up against you, and with the slightest tough, you spin out. Once you get into first place, you'll get hammered with 3 or 4 weapons really quickly, leaving you so far behind you cant catch up. The steering is either too sensitive, or not sensitive enough. The only good thing about this game that I would say, would be the graphics aren't bad and the load times are pretty short, other than that, avoid this game.
