So Rock Band Unplugged got leaked. Now I know some people have already gotten their copies and played through the game, but for those who managed to hold out for the official release, here's a gameplay video featuring System of a Down's "Chop Suey".

Truth be told, the instrument switching shown in the vid kinda throws me off a bit. Looks really nice though. Definitely getting this for those long bus rides. Those who already tried the game might also want to buy the real deal when it comes out. We've always been asking for good PSP games, and now that we're starting to get them we really ought to do our part.

Rock Band Unplugged will hit retail on June 9.

» Dont dis, but i have downloaded the game..

I will DEFINATLY be buying this when it comes out. But I agree the instrument switching is hard but once you get used to it, it is really good. Very good for your quick fix of rockband on the go. But a perhipial would have made it SOO much better and would stop piracy.

» downloaded and...

i dont like the main mode, for me the switching every 15 seconds ruins the fun. I do like the warmup mode, you can play only 1 instrument for the entire song. Both the guitar and drums are fun in this mode.

» DOWNLOADING PLEASE WAIT

» prolly gonna get flamed for this but

THIS IS WHY DEVS DON'T MAKE GAMES FOR THE PSP ANYMORE, YOU BUNCH OF PIRATES!! QJ you are looking BAD hosting the video of STOLEN GOODS. Makes the whole anti iso talk in the forum redundant.

» Support the PSP

The bottom line is there are a LOT of of PSP owners that do not buy games. Game developers will not support the PSP is they can't make money. More games sold, more money made. Happy developers create more and better games.

» Happy developers create more and better games.

Better games? If that were true there wouldn't be a Patapon 2 or LocoRoco2.

Anyway, yeah, It's good to support the devs.

» Seriously

It's a gray area, since the game isn't officially on sale..some might say it's not stealing :)

And then again, who says all pirates are out to steal? I like to think of it as "Try before you buy". In the past, I've avoided some seriously terrible games that way.

» Good god

Pirating games before their release date ISN'T STEALING??? Now I've heard everything.

» portable Frequency/Amplitude

Awesome its just like Frequency/Amplitude for the PS2 nice... i loved those games so much before guitar hero came out.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Most of the time switching between instruments makes you lose your note streak on the count of you can't see what the first note is on the new fretboard quick enough.

"perhipial would have made it SOO much better and would stop piracy."

yea would of made it better but would never stop piracy and a good example guitar hero on ds u can buy the perhipial and download the game.

To those who have it, you may have noticed a little problem, IE it deletes your game folder upon exiting. One way out of this is to hard reboot your PSP, using the HOME button will sometimes delete your GAME folder since the game detects whether or not you have an "ISO" folder or "SEPLUGINS," Just a warning because I was dumbfounded when I couldn't figure out where all my applications and emulators went. A kid by the name of Torch made "CFW Folder Blocker" plugin that hides the "GAME" folder when ISO's are ran, but Rock Band even slips past that and deletes it anyway. Anyway, the second method to not having this happen is to throw another file in /GAME that is *Not* a folder. Such as a JPEG or blank text document. Well it worked for me at least. Oh and if you don't have this problem now, don't think it won't ever happen. It does it about 1/10 times you run the game.

» ??

Ok my only guess why that happen is your using GEN cfw as i have a CFW 5.00m33-6 and this game has never deleted my Game folder When i exit it.

» well

Now I'm gonna pirate it just to piss this little clique of people off, I'll make sure I seed it as long as possible before I get tired of seeing its label in my torrent application.

Afraid not. I only use M33.

Read the forums for yourself killer. It's happening to a lot of people.

» @shadow666

Yes but people still have to "buy" the perhipial which mkes the devs money, because probably 90% of the time people will just buy the perhipial with the game

» @ DARKnikon

Even though the game is not released yet it is still stealing. Did you pay anything to play it? Did You make this game and therefore gives you rights to play it right now? NO, so You are stealing when you download it from the torrent networks. Also if they wanted you to play before you pay, a Demo would have been released but they're so worried about piracy that they can't focus on outing a Demo. More money means more development which in turn means more enjoyment for People like Me. Not You. When someone steals something of value to you only then will you understand.

Hey now, I'm not a Pirte.

QJ doesn't have a automatic pirate banner. But it does have built-in spell check.

» too bad

i dont have cfw, unfortunately, but i do belive that this game was "leaked" to build up some reputation, to make people like me, with normal psp's want it more. best advertising a company can produce is showing off something in a sort of way. just like how the company's start rumors, to build up hype. duh.

by celebbb - 2009-05-18 03:07
» a perhipial...

would not save a game from piracy. the money make in games is from acctual software sales, companys dont make money off the acessory that comes with a game.
