Hunting is the name of the game in Namco Bandai's God Eater. Speed's also an important part of the equation, especially since Namco Bandai touts the game as a much faster experience than Capcom's own hunting series.

It's fitting then that Namco Bandai's kicking off their promotion of the game with a short TV commercial highlighting the game's high-speed action. Check it out below.

God Eater comes out February in Japan and a demo is already available on the Japanese PlayStation Store. No US release announced yet, but Namco Bandai still does have that US trademark they filed for a while back.

liked Monster Hunter. Hopefully this won't too cheesy or, God forbid, lacking in content.

What made Monster hunter good was its combat. The hunters moved believably for the most part, with the exception of maybe the dual swords. It wasnt your usual jrpg crap shoved into an action game, which is exactly what god eater looks like to me. 3/4 dissida and 1/4 monster hunter equals one crappy game. If it square instead of namco, I would guarantee a Squall cameo.
