Vaan joins Dissidia Duodecim

Shonen Jump has revealed the latest character for Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy, the hotly anticipated sequel to last year's hit portable fighting crossover, Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Yes folks, it's no other than Vaan, the main character of Final Fantasy XII.

Vaan will join the recently revealed newcomers in the series, Lightning, Kain Highwind and Tifa Lockheart. Dissidia Duodecim: Final Fantasy will be out next year, exclusively for the PSP.

god i hate vaan. balthier would have been a far better choice.

i'm really hoping for vivi. there needs to be more mages for the cosmos warriors.

I think he means that if a shooter was in Dissidia they would constantly spam with long range attacks and trap you until your Brave Points break. Personally I think Vaan is a great addition, I would prefer Ashe or Larsa more, but hey at least they didn't put Penelo as a hero.

main character my ass. ff12 didn't have any main character, and the ones that really drove story forward were ashe, balthier and basch.
