Take for example Fisher6. He sent us an email about posting some proof of the PSone emulation via OE-A. He takes it for a spin and plays Hot Shots Golf 2 in this video:

The strange thing about this, though, is that it doesn't show any footage of the game actually being played. We're just shown the menu and loading screens. Where's the actual game? In any case, for the skeptic people doubting the OE-A's power of running PSone emulation, at least here's the proof - well, half-proof, at the very least.
UPDATE: All thanks to one of our commenters who prefers to go by the name of "er", we now have a new video to show you guys which bears the full proof (as compared to the earlier half-proof) that the emulator works. Enjoy!

By and large, for those pirateers out there, the PSOne emulation is next to useless. Ignoring the exceptions of the few games that don't have superior PSP versions, there is little point at all for the average pirate to care for the PSOne versions. The PSOne emulation right now is more of a budget option for people who want a cheaper route to *purchasing* games for their unit.

I've got Crash Bandicoot running on my 3.02 OE PSP. You have to make sure to put the directory in the PSP\GAME folder and not in the PSP\GAME150 that the firmware uses.
do go to 3.2 using devhook or have the real firmware?

i noticed in the oe-a recovery menu theres a place for plugins. Does this mean we can plop the vcs cheatdevice/ overclocking module/mp3 player/etc. in a folder and just be able to use them? or do we have to flash them?

Is there anyway to turn an ISO into an EBOOT yet? Is there a problem with button mapping? I have made some ISO of my old games for the PSPX emulator - all we need is a program to conver these to an EBOOT...I know $ony has done this for us but I want to make my own an use $ony's emulator!
A torrent team was quick to release the 3.02-OE-A version of Crash bandicoot... and now has around 100 seeders; 466MB. I bought the game (***** of me -_-) and now I dont have to buy games... they're free!

Sooo... the EBOOT.PBP of Biohazard (Yes I have it and it works - it's japanese, though) contains a 340+MB PSAR file... so maybe if somebody could unpack it to see the file structure...
Or there's the "oh noes!" side. Part of the emulator's code is also present in every each game's eboot, so there won't be a way we could dump our PSX CDs...

ok...have 302 oe...not a noob....have hot ***** golf for psp....put the folder in EVERY game folder, still cannot get it to work!!!! freezes when try to load. have same problem with metal gear. am i doing something wrong? do i have to put the settings on something special? any help would be very appreciated

its verry easy, installation is easier than downgrading, and its safe. infact you get a recovery mode. something 1.5 firmware doesn't have. and you can use all 1.5 homebrew, so get that, and you'll be like, i can't believe i was waisting my time using 1.5 o_O
I found it didnt work when i set the game folder to 1.50. I had to move my 1.50 homebrew to GAME150, then set the GAME folder to 3.02. When i put the game there, it worked fine, but didnt when i placed it in GAME302. Dont know why, but yours should do the same.

Even if you own a game, downloading the eboot version of it is still illegal. Don't forget that Sony put money into the emulators development and in return need to make a little money. Sony's a company, not some god damn charity.
There are people who actually pay for these games, beleive it or not. Let's just hope that Sony don't pull out on the PSX emulator any time soon.

I went to isohunt.com and downloaded crash and syphon filter...I have the games...the certificate and now I just cant figure out why it wont work.....I put them first in 3.02 oe- a kernal mode and the eboot wasnt recognized...then in M:0....any Ideas...thanks...go to isohunt.com to download these games everyone!!!!!
I don't really know, but if you download the game from someone else I don't think it will work as the official 3.01 that you emulate still has some check that makes it impossible to run if it isn't the same PSP as the one it was bought on (loaded to from a PS3). OE on the other hand has been cracked in that check.

maybe soon when updates are made to OE-A, there shouldnt be any reason why u can't just make the ps1 emulator play a normal iso file. That's pretty much what you are downloading off of ps3 anyway, just in some other format.
