Get a taste of a different kind of school with Class of Heroes. Enroll yourself into 75 levels of nasty catacombs, meet hundreds of bullies, and be the best alchemist you can be. This one, I'll bet, you'll be attending with more gusto than an actual school. Here's a video just to give you a better idea of what to expect.

Class of Heroes boasts some of the features that Atlus does so well. You can play with over 500 character possibilities, including 10 races, 3 alignments, and 15 majors, giving you a lot of options for character customization. You get 80 hours of dungeon-exploring action and find 1,300 item types scattered all over 75 maps filled with puzzles and traps.

If you know your Atlus games, you know that they can pull that off well, although there's always their pitfall of laughable graphics. Your only requirement in this school is a PSP, and you can enroll when classes start on April 7th with a tuition fee of US$ 39.99.

What are you talking about interesting?

From the trailer and the images, the game looks like crap. Just like the crap ATLUS has been releasing for years due to their very high popularity. I remember back when ATLUS actually released good games. Back on the NES when they released Wacky Races, SNES with games like Run Saber, and the PSX with a whole lot of very good RPG titles and even different games like Tale Concerto. For the PS2 they started out and got very popular with the release of Disgaea. That's when they actually started making alot of money and you see game after game being pushed out. Sure they've released some good titles in last gen, like Contact, all Shin Megami Tensei titles except Devil Summoner, and Riviera for either GBA or PSP, but overall, their releases have just been crap. Especially recently when the last good titles for two years have been Persona 4, Persona 3, and Persona 3 FES.

Let me also reiterate

When I said ATLUS' "very high popularity" I'm talking about how popular they are now days compared to before. They push so much crap out that you might as well just call it shovelware now because thats what it is. They grab some random crap, usually very generic anime based crap, and then push it out there because everyone knows generic emo looking anime will garnish some sales with all the emo kids out there. The fact that people buy it all now days because it's ATLUS is just astounding.

Opinion...

I can't believe you just wrote an essay based on on kids opinion, you really think you changed how he/she feels about the game. You just wasted your time kupomogli...

typical business strategy

sometimes they just did it just to stay afloat, with the financial crisis and all. can't really blame them though... although the jewel summoner did not prove to be quite successful... and Atlus America just do the localisation of Disgaea... NIS published it in Japan..

ATLUS USA only localizes the majority of games they release in the US

The only games that ATLUS Japan developed that they also localized here are the Shin Megami Tensei games and Growlanser games. Instead of listing just Disgaea you should have pretty much listed almost every game I listed there aside from SMT/Persona.

and actually.

Growlanser 2 and 3 were localized by Working Designs as Growlanser Generations, both in a deluxe pack for 79.99 and a regular pack for 49.99 when they were first released. Giving gamers the choice to choose this time around whether they'd want the extras or they just want the games. Growlanser 5 Heritage of War was the only one released in the US by ATLUS. If you want to get technical.

You wasted your time replying to my message

I wouldn't have posted it if I didn't have the time to waste. The reason I even posted it is because we see nothing to give a reason to say the game looks interesting. The only thing we see is the emo anime video or the pictures at the site which look terrible. That's a great reason to be interested in something.
