When Aya takes damage from enemies, her clothes get damaged as well. That we already know, we already saw. The extent of the damage was reportedly only up to bikini level, so no birthday suit in The 3rd Birthday. Director Hajime Tabata revealed a little more about the game via Twitter again, this time sharing an image that shows the bikini-level damage.

PE2 was set in yr 2000 & PE3 is yr. 2012. 12 yrs have been past and Aya still looks like a teenager in the game

this is pretty helpful especially if the gameplay has no life bars or hp bars. then that graphically strip-out Aya is useful to monitor your health. lol.
