Developed by Slitherine Software and published by Black Bean, The History Channel: Great Battles of Rome lets players take control of Rome's vast armies in a series of campaigns to expand the Roman Empire. There are reportedly over 100 playable battles. There are also seven PSP-exclusive campaigns that feature the gods.
So far, there hasn't been any video that show us the gameplay details (the official website does mention that this strategy-based title can let players control up to 20 units at a time), but we do have a trailer for you guys today. Check it out below. The History Channel: Great Battles of Rome hits Europe on May 7 and is available for PC, PS2, and PSP.

"OK, so history can be a bit boring sometimes. It's a good thing that companies like the History Channel are looking at other avenues of education", typical american (the average since I've met some educated americans) , don't see the importance of history and think media can substitute education of events written in history. At the end, fools who learn about the world by media end up killing "in the name of liberty" while the rich swines get more sacks of money off their ignorance without an effort. They know a biography of Anne Nicole's life yet they probably don't know anything about Napoleon Bonaparte. Before I finish I wanna add that if the future of the USA lies in the hands of today's american generation then the USA is *****ed up...
If you want a good Rome RTS game, get Rome: Total War. Its for the PC and not at all high in system requirements.
Looks not that great. But it'll interesting to see how this RTS will fare on the PSP.

Actually, it IS Rome Total War presumably. Since History Channe licenced the engine for two of it's programmes, it might as well as licence it for a game.
