Oh. Are we playing volleyball now? The release date for The Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion keeps getting thrown around like it's going out of style. Right now, it's pushed back (according to GameStop, at least) further than anyone every expected it to go.
A few weeks ago, there was a bit of confusion with the release date, whether it was really on April 16 or September 3. And then, just a few days back, the release date was pegged back to April 16. What gives? Right now, if you check GameStop, you'll see the Bethesda Softworks title clocked in for a December 3 release.
Excuse me while I fan myself. I feel faint.
That's like more than half a year from now. That's like more than half a year from it's original April 16 release. If anything, here's to hoping that Bethesda would clarify things. The last official thing we heard from Bethesda was that the handheld Oblivion game is still under a TBC/TBA release date. Oh well. Guess all we can really do is wait. Speculation can only go so far.

i was soo happy when i walked into gamecrazy and saw that it was going to be released next month. but now its not gonna come out until december...wow thats pretty dumb, considering the psps might not be as populair considering the new handheld devices that could be coming out this year. And plus, isn't the psp2 coming out somtime this year? lol.
wtf? qj doesn't have to keep updating $hit about this game's release date whenever gamestop's site modifies the date. We are capable of checking gamestop for the release date ourselves thankyou.
Who cares about this? It seems as if every god damn day there's a new rumor about oblivion. Who gives a *****... It's not even going to be a 'real' oblivion title. Please keep the ***** out of the news.

It's going to flop. The PSP just can't handle that game the same way another system can. Oblivion is a PC game for me.

The first time playing an elder scrolls title was on my ngage back in the day and trust me I fell in love with the title I would more than appreciate this on my psp. Cant wait for, I guess all good things has to wait.. No problemo, I'm quite a patient person
