Groove to the cute, simplistic beat to save your tribe from being trampled in this gameplay video of Sony's quirky Patapon for the PlayStation Portable. As the god leading the cyclopean Patapons, you'll give the spear-wielding nuggets of cuteness orders by bashing buttons to a rhythm so catchy, you'll be humming the tune for hours on end.

The graphics are much like Loco Roco's, in the sense of using whole colors and shapes as the predominant visual theme. The prompts for the buttons (Square for Pata, Circle for Pon) are easy to see while not being too distracting, and the action onscreen is quite engaging to look at.

What really shines here in this video is the game's music - yours truly just can't get over the "Pata-pata-pata-pon" chants that the Patapons do. It's like Loco Roco all over again, except just a tad bit more addictive.

Pata-pata-pata-pon! Enjoy the video!
