Princess Kiku's in trouble (again), Lord Gohda's useless, and Rikimaru's team is on the job. A familiar story but this time, it's on the PlayStation Portable.

So, how did the Wii stealth ninja game, Tenchu 4, translate in thePSP port? Dengeki Online gives us a first look with several fresh screenshots.

First, the gratuitous violence:

Now that that's out of the way, let's take a closer look at the inner workings of the game. As you know, there is an emphasis on stealth killing in this game. Of course, the same can be said for every other Tenchu title, but supposedly they made things easier than ever to be the stealthy grand master ninja you always envisioned yourself to be.

For one, you have more ways to avoid attention:

Which, of course, means more ways to really mess up someone's day:

And, of course you have the tools of the trade. Form the orthodox:

To the, "What the hell is Ayame doing with that cat?!":

Well, there you have it. A first look into the PSP version of Tenchu 4. Interested yet? I certainly am... but then again, I *like* "slow-paced, frustrating,  one-mistake-can-kill-over-an-hour-of-hard-work" games.

» Because

It's probably just the same Wii engine with a little tweaks for the PSP. Wii is so underpowered that PSP could seriously play catch up with it ;)

» i guess you forgot that..

The game is for PSP. These screens arent representative of the final version and it'll obviously look better.

But man, hell yes for this. Been a long time Tenchu fan, since Tenchu 2.
