Team ProjectXX exploit released |
Listed in: PSP Tags: Exploit
Head's up to the PSP homebrew community. A new exploit is brewing in the scene with the unexpected release of a new exploit from Team ProjectXX.
Developer's note (translated):
Here I am showing you in a long time, our much-discussed ... exploit this issue is due to the lamers to turn the blame is ours, a member considered trusted betrayed us, and very aware of who can speak ( andrea12 .....) giving the sdk and saying the name of the game for a moment of glory by the famous dark-lamer, that reward has anointed lamerlandia the name of the game. After this unique experience we understand who we trust or meno.Dopo this premise I will talk more of the exploit:
First of all, the game in question Splinter Cell Essential, Released here in europe in April 2006, the game can be bought on the PSN at a cost of € 19.90, at this point I do not know if it has already been patched, but is also sold in stores, obviously PSPGO will be disadvantaged.
How to use the exploit?
1) First set English as the language of system
2) Download the file
3) Remove the ULES002810int folder in X: / PSP / saved and h.bin in X: /
4) Start the game, load the profile and go to Continue

1. There is going to be updates after updates.
2. they found the exploit in THAT fw it does not mean the exploit will still be found in the next update.
If we where to do as you all ask and wait for a FW update the exploits would never come out, As there are updates like every other month or even sooner some times.

That applies to this as well, if ProjectXX was smart they would have picked better people to handle this thing and would have listened to the vets on the scene when they said keep it under wraps. The Scene is only out to serve themselves so get over it, don't like it then move on, there is always DS flash carts.

Has anyone really looked at the PSN PSP store lately? Here in Aus there was 1 new item last week and one 3 this week. Pi$$ poor effort $ony.
Looks like $ony don't care about the PSP anymore and the PSP hackers have all moved to the PS3 so why not release all the hacks and exploits now. The PSP is just about dead, someone has to bring it back to life.
Is it going to be $ony with a really good firmware update or a hacker with a HEN that allows backups to run?

If douchebags like you think it's a system with such shitty games, then how is it that most games are downloaded a half million times or more?
The PSP has a lot of very good games. Publishers don't want to release games when pirates will just download and not bother to purchase.

If douchebags like you would learn to read you would see I never said anything about wanting to pirate or that the games for the PSP were garbage. From UMD to digital I have a couple dozen games but with the PSP I do a little more research before I commit my money to the library this thing has. I don't approve of pirating games in any way shape or form. I do however like homebrew and indie games, I would be happier than a pig in shit if Devs found a way to stop ISO and rom loading all together.
GOOD PSP games are few and far between compared to most systems past and present, partly because of supposed douchebags like me who want to pirate, Devs who cracked the system in the first place with good intention or not and stupid mistakes that Sony made with the system (design, features, proprietary formats, NOT just "shitty" games) The PSP itself is an awesome piece of hardware but rampant hacking and Sony not paying attention to its consumer fucked it up.
Games are downloaded lots on most systems dickhead, thats the life of a pirate, you cant tell the success of a system because of the games people steal, even those downloads include a lot of crap, if the PSP was as locked down as the PS3 the numbers would be way different and maybe developers would be a little more inclined to make MORE worthwhile games.
Next time you want to try and insult me get your shit straight son, blowing smoke up someones ass doesn't do you any good.
