Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together has double the Famicom version's script

ogre With some tweaks to the game's plot and the addition of new character episodes, it's expected of Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together to have a much larger script compared to the previous release. These won't be just minor additions, mind you. In fact, the total amount of characters has more than doubled for the upcoming PSP remake.

“The entire amount of text in the Super Famicom version is about 300,000 characters, this work has over 700,000 characters,” said the game's designer, Yasumi Matsuno, via Twitter. Just for comparison, that puts Let Us Cling Together over Final Fantasy XII which had 600,000.

Matsuno, who's in charge of the changes and additions to the script, didn't mention any specifics about these new story elements. Then again, that's the story, so we'll find out as soon as we get our hands on the game.
