SWAT: Target Liberty's first tactical trailer |
Ó
We have the first trailer for SWAT: Target Liberty for the PlayStation Portable. You've seen the gameplay montage and the interview with the dev, now it's time to see the trailer. It feels a lot like a police TV show like "Cops", then we realized that the video game's script was written by Scott Rosenbaum (The Shield) so that was probably intended.
SWAT: Target Liberty from Sierra definitely shows promise. We'll have to wait a number of months before its fall release. So while waiting, might as well check out the video. Enjoy!

I still believe whole heartedly that this is a big mistake and that it should be released as it was intended to be played and thats First Person Shooter. Could turn out to be a ok game like killzone but I don't believe I'll be making a purchase. Come on, is it really that hard to stick to the format and keep a game as it's original version was FPS? This is starting to stress me, hopefully other great FPS's won't fallow in these guys foot steps and will leave the format alone and keep the games as FPS's. I believe the sales of these games will not be as good as if the format was left alone would see much better market figures. That and incorporating TRUE! "Online Multiplayer" and not just Ad-Hoc.
I am a sure I remember one of the very old / first versions of Swat released on the PC being third person dropdown as opposed to first person though. I dont know if sticking to first person would have worked on the Psp but it might. I always ended up switching to third person anyway.
...a SWAT team of ants...
