When we reported on Banpresto's Super Robot Taisen Advance Portable (Super Robot Wars Advance) getting ported to Sony's PlayStation Portable, we mentioned that the game will be getting a graphical overhaul. Well, we're pleased to report that the updated version is looking really good judging from the screenshot comparisons.

If you're new to the series, here's a little background. Imagine a turn-based strategy game where you can control giant robots including Mazinger Z, various Mobile Suit Gundam units, and Voltes V.  Throw in an engaging storyline and you've got Super Robot Taisen Advance Portable.

In case you plan on picking this game up when it gets released, it should be arriving this June 19 in Japan. No North American release date has been announced yet, though. Anyway, check out the screenshot comparison below. Enjoy!

When did Banpresto even release Jap games into US markets? If I'm not mistaken ..... NONE, NULL ZERO.

You can kiss them goodbye ......
