Fans of Square Enix's Star Ocean: Second Evolution are ecstatic at the thought of playing the game. If you don't know what all the fuss is about, you might want to take a quick look at the set of screenshots Famitsu recently released.
As mentioned in our previous article on Star Ocean: Second Evolution, this game will be getting updated graphics, and it really shows in these screenshots. Featured in this new batch of images are some of the game's dialogue sequences between characters as well as some pretty awesome battles.

I remember spending hours upon hours on this game on the PSX. There was soo much fun to be had that wasn't in your average RPG. The combat is more exciting and challenging compared to turn based RPG's, plus who could forget the Iron Chef mini game!!!
I really enjoyed all the little skills that could be learned such as calling a bunny, and crafting new items. For those who are RPG fans but are somewhat turned off from the Final Fantasy series this will be well worth a try.
I wonder what they mean by updated graphics though? the first Star Ocean looks amazing but these screens look very similar to the PSX. I did notice that the text is a lot better as well as the resolution to fit the PSP.
