Spotted in the wild: TA-090v3, new motherboard? |

It could be a revision model, which would make it version 3 given that the Slim had model 090 v1, and the 3K had v2. The guys at Sceners.org are asking those who have this motherboard to run PSPident via ChickHEN so you can "check if this is real due to the Pommel/ Kirk/ etc versions. It does appear, though, that it employs the same security as the previous ones.

the psp-3000 has always had the TA-090v2 this is the v3 after they released the TA-088v3 for the PSP-2000, they bought out the TA-090v1 which was hackable via pandora (seems like a step backwards but there you go) so its not really that mysterious, it's been here quite a while, this is merely another revision.
