More from Sony's PlayStation Meeting 2011. Aside from the NGP unveiling, which we now hear packs a ARM Cortex-A9 processor, the Japanese video game giant has also unveiled a new PlayStation initiative for the Android market called the "PlayStation Suite."

Earlier we reported about the upcoming PSP successor, dubbed as NGP or "Next Generation Portable" packing a dual analog sticks, front and rear touch pads, 5-inch 960 x 544 resolution OLED display, 3G and WiFi, electronic compass on 3 axes and uses flash cards for games. But what about under its hood?

That will be an issue with those devices. The NGP though, does not run on android, it simply has support to run Ps Suite software, which itself runs on Android. Does this mean NGP run some sort of Android environment? I don't know. It's more likely it has native support for PS Suite software and doesn't even use Android.

What about power source? These specs will require a montrous amounts of power. Will we only be able to use this thing for 30 minutes before we have to charge up again?

Another sigh of relief that they're using solid state.

Those Ipads are pretty powerful with a pretty big touch screen and Apple claims 10 hours (I've never owned one, cant personally vouch for it).

Plus I'm assuming that sony spent development on a sophisticated system of power distribution to the various components and processes.

IE: I'm sure it wont be running at full spec, or even require it most of the time.
