I wonder what FW Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron will require?
If memory serves right, the PSP Slim's default firmware out-of-the-box is version 3.60.
The latest official release is currently in circulation is version 3.71:

The Renegade Squadron should work fine - it wouldn't make sense for Sony to release an incompatible game now, would it?
I hope this info clarifies your question.
I figured that the Slim Star wars PSP would be released with 3.71 sense 3.71 is released before the star wars Slim got released.
Thanks for the response Tim Y.
Has been in production for ALONG TIME, so they wouldnt have enough time to change it from 3.60 to 3.70 because the people behind Renegade Squadron knows that the bundle packs have been in production since summer time, so Sony couldnt put 3.70 unto it.
But the game hasnt been in mass production, only PSP SLIM DARTH VADER EDITION has been in production, they just have to add the game into the pack and its finished. Its just the ceramic white with DV on the back and a reviewer on a website said it was 3.60 FW.
