In this video, we see Sonic and Tails battling it out head-to-head in what seems to be a forest course. It's to note that the action here is ridiculously quick and smooth, with loops, rails and bouncers all over the place. There's rarely a time where the gameplay lets you keep up, barring that of the sections where you have to climb up poles - but other than that, it's pedal-to-the-metal racing through and through. Very nice.

I agree, That game isn't worth your money.
WTH! The Sonic team keeps making horrible games, one after another, and yet no matter how bad the games keep turning out, they make another Sonic game. The funniest part is that people keep buying them. We need to boycott the next few Sonic titles to show that they need to spend some more time to make a truly great Sonic game. Sorry Sega...I'm not buying this crap anymore.
Over the last few years, Sega has been golden on handhelds. Sonic Rush is one of the greatest Sonic games ever IMO. Sonic Rivals could've been a great game too, if not for the crap racing gameplay mechanic. Get rid of that racing ***** and make it play like a normal Sonic game with the excellent 2.5d graphics and I'd buy it in a heart beat.

If you can fairly pass Carnival Night Zone in Sonic 3 without pressing any direction but forward, I'll gladly agree with you. The barrel says otherwise though.

Why was sonic racing tails? I mean there has to be some reason after all these god damn years Tails decides he isn't going to work with Sonic. Also anyone notice how near the end Tails was almost at the start then suddenly near the end?
