Shonen Jump reveals Lightning costume for The 3rd Birthday

light_odin Aya Brea looks nice in her jeans and all, but since her clothes can get ripped in combat, Square Enix is giving her something else to change in. Luckily, Final Fantasy XIII's Lightning is willing to pitch in. Shonen Jump said so in their latest issue, revealing that Aya will indeed be able to wear Lightning's outfit in The 3rd Birthday.

As Siliconera reports, the Japanese magazine did confirm the costume alternative. So that's the top, the short shorts, and that red cape thing. What about the Gunblade? No word on that.

There is word, however, that Aya's evil twin sister, Eve, will be returning. You'll meet her in one of your missions, but Square isn't saying any more than that.
