Our last update on SEGA Genesis Collection discussed similarities among the numerous games included in this collection; however, this post won't be talking about the same thing. We're actually going to highlight and take pride in the fact that these two games we're featuring now have nothing in common - well, maybe except for being real classics and for being cool and fun games.

Virtua Fighter 2
or VF2 is a versus fighting arcade game that had been released back in 1994. At that time, the game was considered groundbreaking as it runs at 60 frames per second. In this version, there will be other exciting features added including adjustments of the size of the arena and adjustments made to the physical energy meter.

Bonanza Brothers is a platform game which involves the characters Robo and Mobo. This game is a little older than VF2. It appeared first in 1990 and has been ported to other consoles a couple of times. The objective of the game is to stealthily move inside a house avoiding guards, retrieve several objects until players reach the rooftop where a blimp is waiting.

So if you're a fan of either versus and platform games and love classics, these titles should satisfy your craving. By the way, we also attached some of the games' trailers for you to reminisce and enjoy the good old days of playing these games. SEGA Genesis Collection is a compilation of 22 games which will be released this fall.

why can the PSP emulate the Saturn version (which was an arcade quality port) I guess this is Sony's answer to homebrew. "People keep hacking our device to play old games. Wait I have an idea, we can just sell them a few of these games for $40 and that will make them happy.". Boo Sony, boo

'Cause is a genesis collection not a saturn one

Also was Sega choose not Sony, get your facts right n00b.

But you are right they aren't including all the good Genesis games i mean were is the classic Genesis sports games ,there were everywhere on the freaking tv ads.

"Genesis Does,Genesis Does,Genesis Does what Nintendon't" Brilliant

Also it pissed me off that they didnt include M.Jackson Moonwalker.

» who wants it?

we all know that a MD/genesis collection is a waste of time with decent MD/genesis emu's already available, ut why port the genesis version of VF2? it was nasty in every way, and considering the power of the psp, an arcade perfect port of VF2 should be no problem, hell , even VF3 should be possible with some good programming.

What we should get is the sega arcade pack which the ps2 had a recently with updated versions of older games. Virtua Racing on the PSP would be awesome!
