Sega">Genesis or Mega Drive, it's the same thing. They had a lot of fun games, including this sweet import of a Sailor Moon game that was completely worth shelling out the cash for! You can't go wrong with teenage girls with superpowers launching flying kicks at monsters and other sorts of enemies.Of course, that's not what we're here for, isn't it. We're here because Sega's coming out with a compendium of fun games from the Genesis era for the PSP!
The Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive) Collection features everything from Columns, the Tetris-like puzzler to Phantasy Star II, III, and IV. It's the perfect way to relive some past experiences of gaming goodness, or at least to show the younger gamers how good gameplay could trump shiny water reflections any day!

i think this means they r making the whole sega genesis library of games for the psp.this and the ps1 emulator r going to kick bass
We've got them all on the emulators anyways. Sega always tend to rerelease the not-so-good games anyways- ie usually no mention of Streets of Rage / Super hangon n stuff :/
Why is this site pretending like it has never posted a Genesis emulator for PSP on which said games and just about all other Genesis games could be played? What?!? I can play Phantasy Star 2 on my PSP?!?!? You don't say!!!

the excuse sony was waiting for to block homebrew... they'll have to clamp down on homebrew emulators now that this has been released... (not that it'll stop me, i'm not upgrading for no one except me!)... alll those people playing games from yesteryear for nothing... no way! (btw: Sony I still have my megadrive, genesis, gamegear, mastersystem, GBA, etc... I'll play them on any emulation system I like!)

At least these would run at full speed without 333mhz and dodgy sound and frameskipping. I already have most of those games (including Phantasy Star 2) on cartridge anyway. But I may buy this used or something.
