It's Snake versus monsters. That's right, Konami's found a little space-warping fun in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, putting nicely a monster from the Monster Hunter series for Snake's hunting fun.

This screenshot actually confirms that news from Kojima Productions' press conference last month about Snake facing some visitors from Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker comes out on May 28th for Europe, and June 8th for North America.

if you were snake, how would you tackle this monster? it doesn't look very friendly at all.

Thats a matchup that reeks of pure epicness. Cant wait to see how it plays out. (Would be pretty hilarious if you could actually carve it as if it were MH)

"This screenshot actually confirms that news from Kojima Productions' press conference last month about Snake facing some visitors from Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G."

Wasn't the MH minigame already confirmed by the actual gameplay video that was shown? >_> Sheesh - redundancy much.

But anyway, back on topic...
Uhh...yay?

There's already a video of it, like a month ago, which is a copy of the one shown at the conference.

Worse... there's already an article on QJ showing it.

Redundancy indeed.
