Screens of first few missions in Macross: Ace Frontier

Namco Bandai is surely giving Macross fans a reason to celebrate. Imagine: twenty-five years of Macross, all in one game on the PSP, Macross: Ace Frontier. The only party pooper in this celebration is the lack of any confirmation for the US. [Insert your personalized "Why does Japan always get the good stuff" sigh here]

Anyways, let's play a little game, shall we? You don't need to learn how to read Japanese to recognize some of these characters, ships, and robots, so if you're a Macross fan, you shouldn't have any trouble with the screens below. These come from the first few missions in Macross: Ace Frontier.

at this day and age, ps1 graphics cannot impress me anymore. i hope that the gameplay will be sufficient for the lack of better graphics.

If it plays well I'll import it because we have no hope of getting this translated. And so far as graphics go... It's a handheld for Christ's sake, what do you expect? I don't see crappy graphics slowing down DS sales any... Sheesh...

psp is still the best looking handheld ever so far. It's not like we cannot make a handheld that has the same power as a PS3 but image the size of it and how big a battery you have to carry ...
