Screens of EA Replay's Budokan |
We have here some screens of the upcoming retro-themed compilation from EA, EA Replay. After giving you those Road Rash trailers and B.O.B screens, we now have here in our midst some Budokan screens. Not familiar with it? Shame on you! Nah, we're just messing with you.
A quick walk down memory lane for the uninitiated reader, the game was released in 1990 and it is a versus fighting game wherein the player could use Karate, Bo, Nunchaku, and Kendo. Some trivia of sorts for you: most of your opponents are male, with the exception of that girl with the Naginata, although there were speculations that a Ninjutsu fighter with a masked face might be female as well.
Ok, so you may be asking why in the world are you going to be interested in buying a game that you can play for free with homebrew emulators. To answer that, lemme quote what my co-blogger, Gino D. said- "we should give everyone - commercial developer or homebrewer - a round of applause for keeping our childhood alive." Although not every kid had a happy childhood, most of us here agree with what he said. So with that, here are the screens.

Just lame, I think
I wouldnt even play a quarter for this game.
What a hunk of crap.
It should be illigal for these schmucks to sell this garbage.
I hope they burn in hell trying to make people buy this junk.
Well its obvious that #1 & 2 never played the original. It was (IMHO) a classic, and im glad to see it ported to the PSP. This game had more moves than any game in its generation, and was fairly challenging. Its a great (Old School) technical martial arts game; but i have one gripe. When i used to play it i used the number pad since it was easyer to perform the more tricky moves and such, and i dont see how a D-Pad or even the analog pad can do this game justice. But you never know.
I don't care about this particular game, but Ultima 7 and Wing Commander should be interesting on a handheld.
The first pc game I played during my high school's computer class. Second one would be Prince of Persia (NOT the Ubisoft one...)
this is the crappest game in existence. i have played it, its crap
