The Tales of Phantasia: Full Voice Edition is a remake of the old Tales of Phantasia game wherein you will control characters such as Chester Barklight, Mint Andnade, Arche Klaine, Klarth F. Lester, and Suzu Fujibayashi. This popular Famicom game is restored once more on the PSP, with features much more dynamic than the last.

There is one thing that the fans would enjoy in the PSP version of the game: the game is now fully voiced; hence you will hear your favorite characters talk things out during the game. More so, you may now load the game at any place that you desire. There is also a grade shop which is only available in the PSP version of the game. Famous seiyuus/voice actors such as Inoue Kazuhiko and Itoh Kentarou will be bringing your favorite Tales of Phantasia characters to life.

From the looks of the screencaps, the gameplay is still no different compared to the other versions of the Tales of Phantasia series. I guess we just have to keep watch on what other things they will change with regards to the new version of Tales of Phantasia.

stupid RPG? idk wtf you r talkin about but u must be stupid or sumthing. Tales of Phantasia is the best Game out there for the PSP coming soon list, i played this game on SNES and it was Amazing, a remake would make it even more better, so get yourself checkout or something and go play your LOCOROCO bs.

Differences

I wonder how different it will be from the GBA version. And if does come here stateside, I hope to God they get better voice actors than the GBA version. Cress sounded like creepy 50 year-old during the battle scenes!

A couple things...

First, it was originally for Super Famicon, not Famicon. Secondly, this game was first made for Super Famicon, then for PS1, then GBA, and now PSP. Each version has added some enhancements, and I doubt this one will be much different. Going from the GBA version to this I doubt one would see much change, however I have only played(and completely beaten, btw) the SNES version so I'm really looking forward to this release. Finally, calling this game stupid is tantamount to blasphemy to anyone who knows anything about games. This was released before 2000, but it is still better than most recent RPGs. In fact I would easily place it up with other great RPGs like Chrono Trigger, FFVII, FFX, Xenosaga, and KOTOR (apologies for leaving others out, those are only the ones I think of off the top of my head). The only reason it is not as well known is because it was not translated into English for several years.

No

Yeah....the industry really needs to stop milking the classics.

PSX version

The PSX version is the best of the bunch. Hopefully that's the one this port most resembles. That never came out in the US, so hopefully this one does. Although since Eternia didn't, I won't hold my breath.
