Rumor: Sony developing cellphone-videogame hybrid device |

Sony is reportedly planning to develop a new cellphone-videogame hybrid device to better compete with the iPhone, according to the Nikkei news agency in Japan.The report reveals that consumer electronics giant Sony is considering setting up a new project team as early as July to develop a hybrid device that combines the functionality of a Sony Ericsson mobile phone with its handheld gaming device.
Now this report has once again refueled the previous rumors of a Sony Ericsson PSP branded mobile Phone is in the works and just last week, Sony Ericsson has announced two new mobile phones that could sync up with the PS3 and play Playstation games. When a Sony rep was asked about the report, the typical "no comment" statement was given.

Are you sure? Last time I checked the Iphone is selling very well.... I agree that contracts are *****, but some people are stupid. They buy everything with the right advertising.
you only need and ipod touch. very cheap compared to $600 and monthly bills. psp lite is cheaper at $170. ipod touch cost's $200. I still only own my psp 1000
