Returning Summons in Crisis Core: Moogle, Chocobo, Ifrit, Odin, Bahamut, Cactuar - Image 1In just a little over a week, fans of the epic Final Fantasy VII game will get the chance to experience the prequel that is Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. For this update, we'll be dishing out the Summons that will be appearing in the game.

Moogle, as pictured on the right, will be called upon by Zack to raise his level of materia. It's one nifty trick to those who will focus more on using magic than melee. Chocobo will have Zack jump on him so that Zack can slam down his enemies to the ground. Cactuar will be assisting Zack by using the 1000 Needles attack.

On to more serious and vicious Summons, we have Ifrit, Odin, and Bahamut.
Just like in FF7, Ifrit will be smoldering enemies away with his Hellfire technique. As for the ever serious Odin, he can instantly turn the tides of a battle with his one-hit Zantetsuken attack. Lastly, Bahamut. His attack will literally blow enemies away with his Megaflare attack.

Do enjoy the screenshots of the Summons and the video of Cactuar below. We sure were at awe when we saw these. We'll keep you guys updated for more updates on the game!

Materias are more like hands-on skill unlocking spheres so they not only give you magical skills but also physical skills such as increased stats and commands (Steal, Jump, Critical Hit...). So materia users aren't necessarily "magic users that don't rely on melee", especially in Crisis Core... I mean, Sephiroth uses materia but we all know how much he loves sword fighting. :P

Anyway, can't wait for the overseas release of this great title. X3
