Reid, Arche, Kratos, and Senel on Tales of World |
More familiar faces can be found in Tales of the World. Could this game be the ultimate Tales tale? For fans of the Tales series, it could just be the fanfare that you need. Arche Klein of Phantasia, Kratos Aurion of Symphonia, Reid Hershel of Eternia, and Senel Coolidge of Legendia are making an appearance in Tales of the World. So what can we get out of these old characters. Naturally, some familiar skills will be available to us in the game, as well as some extra knowledge about the world of the Tales of series.
Kratos, Reid, and Senel will provide great attacks to your
team. However, unlike the previous announcements wherein the characters from
the old series were playable, it seems that Arche wonÂ’t be available for play.
Instead, she will be an NPC who would be on the hunt for her friend, Chester
Barklight. With more and more familiar faces from the Tales of
series, fans are definitely anticipating for the coming of this fantastic
series.

This is coming to the U.S too,right?
Yeah I'm hoping this will see US shores. If it doesn't, I hope it makes it to the UK so we can just import it from there.
I hope so too, first Tales of Eternia isnt here so it has to be imported (or downloaded) and now we get this what I hope to be GREAT montage of past Tales characters and it may not even be available stateside or even in English! No wonder the PSP is doing bad state side compared to NDS all the good PSP games never come here!
If this doesn`t come to the US or doesn`t even get a european translation, I`m gonna download it like hell. Like I`ll sit there and look at screen shots with Namco trying to screw ME out of this awesome game. You must be *****tin
Kratos from Tales of Symphonia I think is one of the coolest video game characters in an RPG. Is he evil? If so why is he helping Lloyd and the rest? Why does he seem to care about Lloyd more than he lets on? Etc etc. He has a much bigger role in the story the more and more it continues thus IMO making him one of the deepest characters in an RPG.

Kratos is Llyod's father. Which was pretty obvious to begin with. On another note, hell yeah! @ The character roster for ToW. I really hope this is translated, or else I'm forcing myself to learn Japanese.
Oh sweet Jesus, that was funny. Not in the GBA one, but the fanslated SNES version it was. "MMM, that was wonderfull, Cless..."
Thought it's really not surprising that these characters are showing up... If it's anything like the past two Tales of the World games for GBA... Then pretty much every Tales character will show up. After all, I doubt they'll have less characters than Tales of the World 3... Oh, and we can also expect most of the bigger bosses from the pretty much all the Tales games as well to show up, along with some inevitable new ones. Especially Dhaos. He always shows up. And if this is anything like the other ones... Then the bosses will also be playable :)
