Rage Rider, by Akella, is a combat racing game set to be released on the PSP, PC and PlayStation 2. Set in a futuristic deserted 'Mad Max' style environment of Nevada, the main character Axle uses his skills of gun slinging, bike riding and fighting to hunt and bring down fugitive criminals.

The game's world is populated by law-abiding citizens, corrupt sheriffs, rebellious mayors, mysterious religious cults and gangs of raiders. The player can ride his bike across the desert, travelling from town to town, to fight enemies using martial arts and firearms while receiving quests, missions and solving puzzles, improving his driving and fighting skills and buying new weapons.

Similar in part to Road Rash, the player can fight members of bike gangs while on his bike using baseball bats, lead pipes, shotguns and grenade launchers.

Skills-and-perks-based role play system
Large variety of quests and missions tied together into a non-linear story
Combat system with dozens of combo moves and attacks
Comic books-alike plot and characters
