R-Type Tactics to arrive at U.S. by March 08? |

NeoGAF forum member Kumiko Nikaido's piece of info revealed that Irem's PlayStation Portable video game R-Type Tactics is coming to North America on the first quarter of 2008. NeoGAF members are giving this rumor posting a close look because Nikaido has been known to be a viable source of info.
R-Type Tactics is part of the long-running R-Type franchise that began in 1987. It was a side-scrolling shoot 'em up arcade game that features Earth forces and the alien race known as Bydo. However, Irem implemented some changes to R-Type Tactics and made it more of a turn-based, hex-grid strategy game.
Kumiko Nikaido added that fans in North America can expect R-Type Tactics to become available on March 4, 2008 with a price tag of US$ 39.99. Aside from that, the forum member also shared that it will be renamed to R-Type Command by publisher Atlus. While waiting for official statements, we have to put this one for now under rumors.
