Xyanide Resurrection

Zephyr in the sky at night, I wonder, do my tears of morning sink beneath the sun? Madonna's not the only one who can go faster than the speeding ray of light. Drake can do that too. Although his "capture the escaped witch Aguira" mission won't kick off until the game's release on Q1 2007, Playlogic Entertainment's Xyanide Resurrection is coming along quite nicely.

Look at all those bright colors! This game looks like a visual feast. Big things, small things, all coming at you in bizarre speeds from every direction. Flashing lights, streaking lights, neon lights, glowing lights; who cares about getting a seizure? That's what I call "mind-blowing."

Here's the 411 on Xyanide Resurrection:
  • 10 levels, 4 difficulty settings, with mid- and end-boss battles
  • Multiple branch story line
  • Upgradeable player vessel
  • Detailed backgrounds and visual effects
The game also boasts a seamless transition for your age-old tube shooter to a hybrid genre of 2D/3D sci-fi action. How in-your-face can it get? Here are more screens zooming in faster than Madonna.
