While PSPPumpgun didn't tell us where he got this, it is an "open secret" among PSP users that this might be/ could be/ is no other than an ISO. We tried the boxed game on Xbox 360 and we were in awe with the great expanse of the island of Oahu. After hearing the devs mention that all 1,000 miles were placed in the handheld version and no loading screen will be seen whatsoever, we thought we really had to see it for ourselves.
We want this game badly. We're a sucker for racers, as you all know by now. Oh, well. As long as our readers are happy, we are happy for them as well. Thanks, Suicide Man 2oo7 for the heads up!

Its hard to get past the videos. You have to press X when the memory stick does NOT flash or it will freeze. I guess you now where to get this iso from qj'ers

I think whats missing is the discussion of the game in itself... It is one of the rare INFRASTRUCTURE racing games out! My bro lives across the country and now we can race each other! It's a Massively Multiplayer Racing game! :D.. its incredible to have everyone just driving around! MORE games need to follow this model and go Infrastructure... Online capabilities is what will propel the PSP.. similar to have the XBOX live system carried the xbox... Infrastructure is the key to success for the pSp!

The file is in 53 fragments, so there isn't much you can do with it (unless there is a program to combine them all)

Infrastructure mode is pretty neat. I wish more games would support it. The whole XLink Kai thing attempted to remedy this, but there's rarely anyone on any game besides Monster Hunter Portable.
That said, being a Hawaii resident...it's a really bad misrepresentati on of our state. I've been driving around for about an hour and have only found one discernable landmark. It's quite...impersonal, and just doesn't feel like Hawaii should. The roads appear to be pretty accurate, but a little more effort could have been taken on the buildings. Oahu isn't very big after all, and just a few well-modeled landmarks would have gone a long way.

i already have it (from blackcats) @ over 1mbps took 18 mins exactly to get unrared to 1.5 gigs playing via usb with (usbhosts in xmb mod) on 3.10.0ea at 333 online no lag and it kicks all ass.. i freakin love this game!!.

You don't buy games, game makers don't get money. They don't make money, they stop making games. Simple.
The PSP game makers don't get enough money, they make less games for the PSP. Less games from developers + less games for you to download.
Gaming industry in a whole is looking good, but the PSP scene, not so good. Like you pointed out: " Well, i hope this teaches a few lessons to those thinking about releasing PSP games"...So the game makers should magically know when a product is a hit, decide on which platforms to make it for and magically make them all to be released at the same time. Good ***** luck on that one. Get real mothrfckr. No game development is alike. Timetables change, systems are different and no one, I mean no one is making the game for you on your timetables. Of course they could have released the xbox 360 version 6 months later, so that your "plan" would make any sense. Right?

You can run this game on a 1 gig stick, use UMDgen, and then optimise it, so it takes out the UPdate and padding files, then find the menu music and delete all but 3 of them, then take out some of the racing music, then save as CSO, and depending on what music you deleted the file size will be any where between 800 meg and 900 meg, just enough to whack on a 1gig stick
Ho, and to the a$$ wipe on the opposite page, a multi platform release has happened in the past, so why not all the time.
